Refund policy

Booksara is a subscription service billed in advance. This policy explains when payments are refundable. All payments are processed in Saudi riyals through Moyasar.
Free trials
New subscribers to eligible paid plans get a free trial. Nothing is charged during the trial, so the simplest way to avoid any charge is to cancel before the trial ends — you keep access until the trial expires.
Subscription payments
- First payment: if Booksara is not working for you, contact us within 7 days of your first charge on a plan and we will refund it in full.
- Renewals: renewal charges are generally non-refundable. If a renewal was charged in error — for example after you had already cancelled — contact us within 7 days and we will put it right.
- Cancelling mid-period: cancellation stops future charges; your plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for. We do not prorate partial periods.
- Duplicate or incorrect charges and billing errors on our side are always refunded in full.
Add-on purchases
One-time purchases such as SMS credit bundles and bookkeeper packages are refundable within 7 days if unused. Once SMS credits have been spent or a bookkeeper engagement has started, the purchase is non-refundable.
How to request a refund
Open a support ticket from your account or email us with the email address on the account and the invoice number from your billing page. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, normally within 5–10 business days depending on banks.
Exceptions
Refunds may be declined where an account is terminated for breach of our terms of service or where the request follows heavy use of the service in the same period. Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under Saudi consumer protection regulations.
