Choosing the right accounting plan for your business
The right plan comes down to two questions, mostly: how many businesses do you run, and how many invoices do you actually send in a month. Everything else — payroll, recurring invoicing, team size — narrows it further, but those two numbers alone rule out most of the wrong options fast.
Starter: free, for one business getting started
Starter is free and covers one business, one user, and 10 invoices total, not per month — it's meant for testing the product with real customers and real numbers, or for a business genuinely small enough that 10 invoices covers it for a while. There's no credit card and no expiration date attached to it.
Basic: SAR 79/month, for a small team that's outgrown Starter
Basic adds up to 3 users on one business and unlocks recurring invoicing, so once you're sending invoices regularly enough that 10 lifetime starts to feel tight, or you need more than one person with access, this is the next step up.
Professional: SAR 149/month, for multiple businesses or payroll
Professional supports up to 5 businesses and 10 users, and adds payroll on top of recurring invoicing. This is the plan most businesses that run more than one company, or that need to process payroll inside the same account, end up on.
Enterprise: SAR 299/month, for larger operations
Enterprise removes the business and user caps entirely, while keeping the same payroll and recurring invoicing features as Professional. It's built for larger operations or holding structures where Professional's 5-business, 10-user limits would actually get hit.
What actually determines the right plan
In order of how much they matter: whether you run one business or several (this alone often decides Starter/Basic vs. Professional/Enterprise), how many people need their own login, whether you need payroll, and whether your invoice volume has grown past what a free plan reasonably covers. Team size and payroll needs matter, but they rarely override the business-count question.
Upgrading later doesn't cost you anything you've built
You can change plans anytime, upgrades are prorated so you're not paying twice, and nothing you've entered — invoices, customers, records — is lost or needs re-entering when you move up a tier. There's no reason to overbuy up front on the theory that switching later will be painful, because it isn't.
